Their life in brief
Peter, a Galilean fisherman, was called to strengthen his brothers and shepherd the Church after being restored from denial.
Paul, transformed on the road to Damascus, carried the Gospel to the nations. Different in temperament and mission, both were martyred in Rome.
“There is one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call.”
Ephesians 4:4
What Saints Peter and Paul teaches us
The Church does not require identical personalities. Christ makes different gifts fruitful when they serve one Gospel.
Pause and reflect
01Where is God inviting me to practice unity in mission today?
02Who may need the grace of this saint’s witness through my actions?
Let us pray
Saints Peter and Paul, pray for me. Help me follow Jesus with unity in mission and respond faithfully to the people and duties God has entrusted to me. May your witness draw me into deeper prayer, generous service, and confident hope in Christ. Amen.
Thank God for a fellow Christian whose gifts or temperament differ from yours.
