Their life in brief
Born in Castile around 1170, Dominic encountered religious division in southern France and responded through evangelical poverty, patient preaching, and learned faith.
He founded the Order of Preachers, sending friars to study and proclaim the Gospel while personally spending his nights in compassionate intercession.
