Prayer for Healing

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, Divine Physician, we come before You in faith. You welcomed the sick, touched the suffering, forgave sinners, and restored hope to those who had nearly lost it.

Jesus, look upon us with compassion and remain close to everyone in need of healing.

We place before You every wound of body, mind, heart, and soul. Nothing is hidden from You, and nothing is beyond the reach of Your merciful love.

Lord, if it is Your will, heal us; and in every circumstance, make us holy.

Jesus, we pray for those suffering from illness, chronic pain, disability, exhaustion, or an uncertain diagnosis. Guide their doctors, nurses, caregivers, and everyone involved in their treatment.

Give them wisdom, patience, skill, and reverence for every human life.

Strengthen those awaiting test results, beginning treatment, recovering from surgery, or living with conditions that others cannot see.

Calm their fears, renew their courage, and provide what they need today.

For those whose healing will not come in the way they hope, grant endurance, loving companionship, relief from suffering, and an unshakable knowledge of Your presence.

Jesus, unite their suffering to Your Cross and fill it with redemptive love.

Lord, heal the wounds of the heart: grief, betrayal, rejection, loneliness, regret, and memories that still cause pain.

Enter the places we are afraid to revisit and bring Your light there.

Free us from resentment and the desire for revenge. Give us the grace to forgive without denying truth, to seek help when we need it, and to establish wise and healthy boundaries.

Restore in us the freedom to love and to receive love.

Heal those burdened by anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, or despair. Protect every person tempted to believe that life has no value or hope.

Send trustworthy help, compassionate care, and the grace to take the next good step.

Merciful Jesus, heal our souls from the wounds caused by sin. Give us true contrition, confidence in Your forgiveness, and the courage to return to the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us.

Where pride has hardened us, make us humble. Where shame has isolated us, lead us back into communion. Where temptation has weakened us, strengthen our resolve.

By Your wounds, Lord Jesus, draw us into the life of grace.

Help us forgive ourselves for what You have already forgiven, make amends where possible, and begin again without fear.

Jesus, we trust in Your mercy.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Health of the Sick and Comforter of the Afflicted, hold close everyone who suffers and lead them to the healing heart of your Son.

Mary, Health of the Sick, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, hope of the sick and patron of a happy death, strengthen families and caregivers who remain faithfully beside those they love.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Lord Jesus, grant healing according to Your wisdom, strength for this day, and peace that the world cannot give. Help us trust that even in weakness Your grace is sufficient.

Remain with us, Lord, and make us witnesses of hope.

May almighty God bless us, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
