Catholic Prayer for Protection

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Almighty Father, we take refuge in You. You are our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer. Surround us with Your power and shelter us beneath the shadow of Your wings.

Lord, save us from every evil and lead us safely in the way of salvation.

We place our bodies, minds, souls, homes, families, work, and journeys into Your hands. Let Your holy will be done in us, and let no fear rule our hearts.

Jesus, we trust in You.

Lord Jesus Christ, by Your holy Cross and glorious Resurrection, guard us from sin, deception, despair, and every attack of the enemy.

Precious Blood of Jesus, cover us and all those for whom we pray.

Protect our minds from lies, our eyes from impurity, our lips from harmful speech, and our hearts from hatred. Give us discernment when danger is hidden and courage when faithfulness is costly.

Keep us vigilant without anxiety and confident without pride.

Break every habit that draws us away from You. Close every door we have opened to temptation, and restore our homes as places of faith, charity, and peace.

Lord Jesus, let Your light drive away every darkness.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High and abides in the shadow of the Almighty says to the Lord: My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.

He will deliver you from the snare of the hunter and cover you with His wings.

You shall not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day. The faithfulness of the Lord is a shield and protection.

He commands His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.

Because you cling to the Lord in love, He will deliver you. He will answer when you call and remain with you in distress.

Lord, be with us in trouble and show us Your salvation.

We pray for our families and everyone entrusted to our care. Protect children and the vulnerable. Guard those who travel, those who work in dangerous places, and those who serve others at personal risk.

Send Your angels to watch over them and bring them safely home.

Protect the Church, her shepherds, and all Christians who suffer for the name of Jesus. Strengthen those facing persecution, violence, addiction, abuse, or spiritual oppression.

Give them freedom, wise assistance, and faithful companions.

Have mercy upon those who intend harm. Restrain evil, convert hardened hearts, expose what is hidden, and establish justice with mercy.

Let peace begin within us and spread through our homes and communities.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Blessed Virgin Mary, terrible as an army set in battle array, crush the serpent beneath your heel and keep us faithful to your Son.

Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, terror of demons and guardian of the Redeemer, protect our families and lead us in quiet confidence toward Jesus.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide.

Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Lord, make us strong in faith, joyful in hope, and generous in charity. Help us remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

The Lord is our light and our salvation. Whom shall we fear?

May the blessing of almighty God, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, descend upon us and remain with us always.

Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
