Catholic Night Prayer Before Sleep

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father, as this day comes to an end, I place myself in Your loving presence. Thank You for every grace You have given me today, for the people who have cared for me, for the work I was able to do, and for the quiet ways You remained near.

Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for my sins and for every time today that I failed to love You and my neighbor. Forgive me for the good I left undone, the careless words I spoke, and the thoughts or actions that drew me away from You. Give me grace to make amends and begin again tomorrow.

Merciful Father, I entrust to You every worry I cannot resolve tonight. I place before You my family, my friends, those who are suffering, and everyone who has asked for prayer. Bring healing to the sick, comfort to the lonely, hope to the discouraged, and rest to the weary.

Lord, protect this home and all who sleep within it. Send Your holy angels to guard us. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle and protect us from every evil. Mary, our Mother, cover us with your mantle and lead us always to your Son.

Into Your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit. Let my mind grow quiet, my body rest, and my heart remain at peace in You. If I wake during the night, remind me that I am held in Your love. If tomorrow is granted to me, help me rise with gratitude and live faithfully in Your grace.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
