In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Heavenly Father, as this day comes to an end, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for the gift of life, for every grace received, for every person who showed us kindness, and for every opportunity we had to love and serve You.
Lord, we thank You for remaining with us through every joy, every burden, every success, and every disappointment of this day.
We place everything that happened today into Your merciful hands. Receive the good that was accomplished through Your grace, heal what was wounded, and complete what remains unfinished according to Your holy will.
Jesus, we trust in You.
Come, Holy Spirit. Enlighten our minds and help us to see this day with honesty, humility, and hope. Show us where we followed Your inspirations and where we resisted Your grace.
Holy Spirit, help us remember without fear, because the mercy of God is greater than every sin.
Lord, did we place You first today? Did we remember Your presence and seek Your will? Did we use Your holy name with reverence?
Did we treat others with patience, charity, and respect? Did our words bring peace, or did they cause hurt? Did we forgive those who offended us?
Were we honest in our duties? Did we waste the gifts and time You entrusted to us? Did we ignore someone who needed kindness, encouragement, or help?
Did we give in to pride, anger, envy, impurity, selfishness, gossip, or resentment? Did we refuse the quiet promptings of the Holy Spirit?
Merciful Jesus, reveal our sins without allowing us to lose hope. Give us true sorrow and a firm desire to begin again with Your grace.
I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do;
Through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault;
Therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You, and I detest all my sins because of Your just punishments, but most of all because they offend You, my God, who are all-good and deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin.
Amen.
Lord Jesus, we now surrender every worry that follows us into this night. We give You our unanswered questions, our responsibilities, our fears about tomorrow, and the burdens we cannot carry alone.
Jesus, take care of everything according to Your wisdom and love.
We entrust to You our families, our friends, and everyone who has asked for our prayers. Watch over those who are sick, lonely, grieving, afraid, or in danger tonight.
Comfort them, protect them, and let them know that they are not alone.
Bless those with whom we had difficulty today. Heal misunderstandings, soften hardened hearts, and give us the grace to forgive as You have forgiven us.
Lord, make us instruments of Your peace.
We also ask forgiveness from anyone we may have hurt through our actions, our words, or our neglect. Prepare us to make amends and to love more faithfully tomorrow.
I lift up my eyes toward the hills. From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
The Lord will not allow your foot to slip. He who watches over you will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper and your shelter. He watches over you by day and guards you through the night.
The Lord will preserve you from evil. He will guard your soul.
The Lord will watch over your coming and your going, now and forever.
In peace we will lie down and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make us dwell in safety.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, spread your mantle over our homes and families. Keep us close to your Son throughout this night.
Holy Mary, guard our hearts in purity, strengthen us against temptation, and lead us always to Jesus.
Saint Joseph, faithful guardian of the Holy Family, watch over our homes and obtain for us peaceful rest and trust in divine providence.
Saint Joseph, pray for us.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this night be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, remain with us through the darkness of this night. Protect our minds from anxiety, our hearts from fear, our bodies from harm, and our souls from sin.
Grant rest to the weary, comfort to the sorrowful, healing to the sick, protection to the vulnerable, and peace to every troubled heart.
If we awaken during the night, let our first thought be of You. If tomorrow is granted to us, help us rise with gratitude and begin again in Your grace.
Into Your hands, O Lord, we commend our spirits.
May the all-powerful Lord grant us a restful night and a peaceful death.
Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
