Catholic Morning Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, as a new day begins, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for watching over us through the night and for giving us the gift of this day.

Lord, this day belongs to You. May every thought, word, and action give You glory.

Jesus, we unite ourselves to Your Sacred Heart. We offer You our prayers, works, joys, and sufferings, together with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered throughout the world.

Receive our lives as an offering of love, and lead us in Your holy will.

Come, Holy Spirit. Fill our minds with wisdom, our hearts with charity, and our souls with courage. Help us recognize Your voice amid the noise and demands of this day.

Holy Spirit, guide our decisions and make us attentive to the needs of others.

Grant us the grace to begin every task with prayer, to carry it out faithfully, and to complete it for Your glory. Keep us honest in our work, patient in difficulty, and humble in success.

When we are hurried, teach us gentleness. When we are frustrated, teach us patience. When we are uncertain, teach us trust.

Place a guard over our lips so that our words may be truthful, kind, and necessary. Purify our intentions, and keep us from pride, resentment, gossip, and selfishness.

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like Yours.

Father, we entrust to You our families, friends, coworkers, and everyone we will meet today. Bless those who love us and those with whom we find it difficult to live in peace.

Make us instruments of reconciliation, encouragement, and mercy.

Remember the sick, the lonely, the grieving, the unemployed, the persecuted, and all who awaken today carrying a heavy burden.

Provide for their needs, console their hearts, and send faithful people to help them.

Protect children, the elderly, travelers, first responders, and all whose duties place them in danger. Guide the leaders of the Church and of every nation in truth and justice.

Lord, let Your mercy rest upon the whole world.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, place us beneath your mantle. Help us keep Christ at the center of this day and respond to every grace with your faithful yes.

Mary, Morning Star, guide us to Jesus.

Saint Joseph, model of faithful work and guardian of the Holy Family, teach us to serve quietly, diligently, and with love.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide.

Amen.

Lord Jesus, whatever this day may bring, keep us close to You. In moments of joy, make us thankful. In moments of trial, make us steadfast. In moments of temptation, give us strength to choose what is good.

Jesus, we trust in You.

Give us eyes to recognize You in the poor, the forgotten, and every person placed in our path. May our lives bear witness to the Gospel more clearly than our words.

Let nothing separate us from Your love.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life.

Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
